About Me
How did you become a story teller?
Through my career experience working with some of the best mentors in kids entertainment at The Walt Disney Company and Mattel. I was the senior executive overseeing the creation of Monster High (Mattel), and later sold a story-based world called Star Darlings to Disney.
What's your favorite genre to write?
I have a true passion for world-building and fantasy stories with a twist of reality in them. While the first two books I was involved with were Young Adult, I most recently have been writing the Bear in a Bow Tie picture book series. Next up is a super fun Middle Grade book, and another YA book with a super natural twist!

What is UnFROGettable Friends (Book 2 in the Bear in a Bow Tie series) about?
My friend and co-author Luis Fonsi sums it up this way: " "Thanks to music, I've been fortunate to travel around the world. My love and appreciation for learning about different cultures have inspired me to continue creating in different ways. Being a father of two, I enjoy sharing my roots and adventures with them, which pushed me to write my first book ever. I think it's a beautiful way to continue sharing with my kids and a wider audience how beautiful our culture is, the importance of friendship, self-confidence, and the beauty of nature."
What was your very first book?
A Young Adult novel for teens called Anna and the Apocalypse, published my Macmillan Imprint in 2018. You might recognize the title, story and characters from the movie of the same name! If you like zombies, a bit of a jump scare and a kick-ass female heroine, you'll love this book.
